Can children use memory foam pillows?
Yes, children can use memory foam pillows, but they’re not recommended for young children or toddlers. A child should be at least two years of age before introducing a memory foam pillow. That’s because of density and heat retention. Memory foam pillows can be too dense for toddlers, who need something firmer to help neck and back development. Heat retention can also be a problem in memory foam pillows for small children. Memory foam retains heat so a child would need a pillow with breathable textures to help with cooling.
