Kids Memory Foam Mattress

Memory foam mattresses aren't recommended for babies and toddlers as their bodies are still growing and it may restrict some elements. As a memory foam kids' mattress moulds to the body, it may not give the level of support a toddler needs for their spine to develop. As a child's body shape sinks into the memory foam, it's much harder for them to move around during their sleep. This can lead to disturbances and make them restless sleepers. Pocket-sprung mattresses or open coil mattresses are often better suited to babies and toddlers.

The answer to this question depends on the age of the child in question. Here's a breakdown of what's recommended for children of different ages:

• Under 3 years: Medium-firm pocket sprung mattresses are recommended.
• Ages 3-7: Firm memory foam or pocket-sprung mattresses are recommended.
• Aged 7+: Medium or medium-firm memory foam or pocket-sprung mattresses are recommended.
