Ample space underneath

The main feature a cabin bed offers over other similar-sized kids' beds is the space it provides underneath the bunk. Many designs have built-in drawers and shelves that can house clothes, blankets, bedding, toys and much more.

Some cabin bed frames have a play space underneath the bunk that gives your little one an area to play with toys, relax with their books, play some computer games and more.

Raised bed creates more floor space

Cabin beds are ideal if you have small bedrooms in your home.

Thanks to the additional space underneath the bunk, you can either add storage solutions to the space or create an area for your little one to play. This can help transform smaller bedrooms,  as you may no longer need the existing storage furniture with the addition of a cabin bed, or, your child now has their own private place to play.

Help & Advice

What age are kids' cabin beds suitable for?
Cabin beds are generally only suitable for children aged six and above. This is because a mid-sleeper bed is higher off the ground than standard single or toddler beds, posing a risk to younger children. Some mid-sleepers have ladders to reach the higher bunk, which small children can find difficult to navigate.
